Contract
To perform our contractual obligations or take steps linked to a contract with you — in particular to provide our services and to recruit you.

(4) Service Providers
The Company may engage third party companies ("Service Providers") to facilitate the operation of our Website or perform Website-related services. These third parties have access to personal data only to the extent necessary to perform these tasks. Types of service providers who might access your personal data include:
- Accounting firms
- Banks
- Consultants / Law firms
- Marketing firms
- Public authorities
- IT providers
(5) Data transfers
We may use service providers partly located in third countries (outside the EU or EEA) whose level of data protection may not correspond to that of the EU. We safeguard your personal data per our contractual obligations and applicable data protection legislation. Such safeguards may include adequacy decisions by the European Commission, standard data protection model clauses, or binding corporate rules.
If a third country transfer takes place without adequate safeguards, there is a risk that authorities in that country may gain access to the transferred data and that the enforceability of your data subject rights cannot be guaranteed.
(6) Data disclosure
We may disclose your personal data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary:
- To comply with a legal obligation or valid requests by public authorities
- To protect the security of the Website and defend our rights or property
- To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with us
- To defend ourselves against legal liability
(7) Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your stored data against manipulation, loss, or unauthorised third-party access. Our security measures are continually adapted to technological developments.
Our employees and Service Providers are required to maintain secrecy and comply with applicable data protection legislation. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure — we recommend using antivirus software, a firewall, and other similar software to safeguard your system.

(9) Links to third-party apps and sites
Our website may contain links to websites not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third party websites. We maintain an online presence on LinkedIn to communicate with customers and provide information about our services. Content communication via LinkedIn is subject to their responsibility and privacy policy.
(10) Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies provided either by us or by third parties. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by the browser. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your settings to reject them — though this may affect some of our services.
(10.1) Legal basis
We use cookies only on the basis of your consent in accordance with § 25(1) TTDSG.
(10.2) Obtaining your consent
Our website uses a consent banner to collect and manage consent. When you make a decision, a cookie is set recording your choice. If you delete your cookies, we will ask for consent again on your next visit.
(10.3) Withdrawing your consent
You can revoke your consent at any time via the settings banner or by writing to hello@larkventures.de.
(10.4) Contact forms – Web3Forms
Our website uses the form submission service Web3Forms, provided by Web3Forms (webmaster@web3forms.com), to process enquiries submitted via our contact forms. When you submit a form, the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, and message) as well as technical metadata (e.g. your IP address, browser type, and the time of submission) are transmitted to and processed on servers operated by Web3Forms. Web3Forms acts as a processor on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. We have concluded the requisite data processing agreement with Web3Forms.
The data are processed for the sole purpose of receiving and handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating a functional contact channel). Data are not used for advertising purposes by Web3Forms and are not sold to third parties. For further information, please refer to the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
(10.5) CAPTCHA – hCaptcha
Our contact forms are protected against automated abuse by hCaptcha, a service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., 2211 Selig Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90026, USA ("IMI"). hCaptcha analyses user interactions (e.g. mouse movements, keystrokes, and click patterns) and, where necessary, presents interactive challenges in order to distinguish human users from automated bots. For this purpose, hCaptcha may set cookies and process data including your IP address, browser and device information, referrer URL, mouse and keyboard behaviour, date and language settings, and JavaScript objects.
Data may be transferred to servers in the United States. IMI participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is therefore based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. Additionally, standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR serve as a supplementary safeguard.
The use of hCaptcha is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in protecting our website from misuse and spam. For further information, please refer to the hCaptcha Privacy Policy and the hCaptcha Terms of Service.
(11) Changes to this privacy policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
